This is the story about a young, brainy viking named Hiccup, who is misunderstood by the tough vikings of his village, especially his father, Stoick the Vast. So Stoick sends his son into dragon training, a dangerous test of battle strength, but instead of slaying the dragon, Hiccup befriends the creature. He then tries to convince his tribe that they need not slay dragons, but instead he angers them and they attack the dragon home. Of course Hiccup and his dragon, Toothless, need to save the day!
